sbOCD is an automatic End-of-Day Data Downloader and Database Updater. Its multi-features provides the most capabilities compared with the competition:-

1. 1-click operation. Just with 1-click and an internet connection, you can update your database. The simplicity is in a class of its own.
2. Automatic change of ticker names, stock splits (adjustments) and new tickers.
3. Ability to view encrypted reports from the data provider. These reports will contain useful information for the serious trader/investor and are provided exclusively to our own customers. The reports are FYEO-capable (for your eyes only) – these reports cannot be easily copied, duplicated or printed.
4. Unlimited number of portfolios. Each portfolio can handle up to 255 tickers each. A portfolio can consists of tickers from various countries.
5. Data provider will provide the day’ top 20 active, gainers, gainers by percentage, losers, losers by percentage, tickers hitting 52-week highs and lows.
6. One of the few civilian applications to use Triple Encryption (Advanced Encryption Standard plus 2 other AES-candidate ciphers). All keys used were randomly generated from an external source
7. Database backup and restore.
8. Database sorting.
9. Each country’s database can have a maximum of 65,000 tickers
10. Computrac/Metastock format compliant. This is the oldest database format in active use by almost all charting (technical analysis) software.

SERVICE AVAILABILITY

The daily data will be available four (4) hours adter market close. The normal time usually takes at least three (3) hours. This is the time for us to prepare the Top 20 Actives, Gainers, etc.

On the last trading day of the week, the data will be first available six (6) hours after market close. This is to ensure that an extract of the special report can be made ready.

The data will be availiable at our website 24x7. The earliest data for download is up to the previous month. Let’s say, now is June, so the earliest data is from May onwards. As we approach July, the earlist data will be from June onwards.

LICENSE & COPYRIGHT

All our downloaded files are protected by crypto. So, it is safe to put our files on the web - accessible to everybody. Without the keys and licenses we provide, those files appear as garbage.

The database provided is licensed material. Although you are free to copy the database to another computer for your own private use, we will not tolerate sharing this unprotected database.

Each database carries a watermark and it will be easy for us to identify the source. The keys provided are dependent on a particular hard disk. If you change your hard disk for any reason, a new license is required. You should backup the database at least once a month. If you need an updated databse, you have to pay for a new database license.

PRIVACY ISSUES

This software access the Hard Disk Serial Number (Manufacturers Serial Number) and nothing else. It does not contain any spyware, trojans or viruses.

It does not try to get any private and confidential data stored on your computer without your knowledge.
